Welcome to the SIGAf Maxillofacial Surgery community.

Introduction

The SIGAf sub community in Maxillofacial Surgery has a variety of aims and priorities.

They include:

  1. Advancing the field: The group will work to advance the field of Maxillofacial Surgery in Africa by promoting research, developing new clinical practices, and advocating for policy changes that benefit patients and practitioners.
  2. Providing education and resources: We aim to provide education and resources to healthcare providers, patients, and the public to promote better understanding of Maxillofacial Surgery, and to improve the quality of care provided.
  3. Supporting professional development: We aim to support the professional development of future surgeons, by offering opportunities for continuing education, networking, and mentorship.
  4. Promoting collaboration in Africa: We will work to promote collaboration between healthcare providers, researchers, and other stakeholders in the field to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and best practices, and to foster innovation.
